Mary Souliman

She was born in the town of Kfar Shima, and was influenced by the literary and artistic atmosphere and by the artists who preceded her in the arts from her town. Her father used to sing the songs of the musician Mohammed Abdel Wahab. She received her education at the "Antonine Sisters" school in Kfar Shima. Her talent blossomed during religious hymns at school, later encouraged by her husband.
