He worked as an actor at Theater Anadolu in the 2001/2002 season. He settled in Istanbul in 2002 and took part in the establishment of Semaver Kumpanya. He is one of the most well-known actors of Semaver Kumpanya. Since the year he settled in Istanbul, he has been working in various cinema, television and voice-over works, as well as being a theater actor.

Tansu Biçer won the Best Supporting Actor Award at the 49th Golden Orange Film Festival in 2012 for his role in the movie Küf, directed by Ali Aydin.
