...a bude hůř (2007)

Pernicious exploits of young people with an almost empty narrative discourse, or in any case, poor enough to be taken seriously, understanding poor as philosophical junk-food; although at times entertaining, in b-series terms; good soundtrack from an underground band DG307, which is the psychiatric code to exempt young people who suffer from military service; of the brave laziness and dissipation of the recently released Ollin from a psychiatric hospital, alongside his practically beggar sidekick Guma and the band of misfits with whom he wakes up drinking and smoking, and occasionally having sex with unknown women. During the day sweeping and cleaning, in the afternoon and evening in the pub drinking beer but even the hippies had an argument, but what we will find in this film is rather intuitive camaraderie and on many occasions spontaneous as well as irrational. For example, the marriage or union between Ota and the beautiful Olina, or the solidarity of everyone when the enormous Guma is killed and they attend his funeral or when Zdenek Skraup asks them to hand over the unknown Jarousek so that he can be beaten. The play lacks script cohesion and narrative tension but I recognize that it has good scenes such as the aerial one when Ollin, Olina and Ota are at the top of the hill.
