It looks as though he will miss his train, so he decides to hitchhike and is picked up by Mr. Forgetful who, instead of taking him into the station, drives him to the airport. He then finds himself in the plane's baggage hold. But all ends well because he lands on a tropical island and has a really wonderful holiday.
Mr. Clever has to run an errand and asks Mr. Dizzy to look after his dog, Rex, who is every bit as intelligent as his master. However, Mr. Dizzy is not very quick and falls prey to the nasty jokes played by Mr. Snooty and Little Miss Trouble.
One day while Mr. Grumble was having tea at Little Miss Giggles' house, Mr. Clever arrived with a marvelous spacecraft invention. It represented that it will take them straight to Mars in several hours. On Mars they were all together looking for life, but while running from a Martian, it turned out to be PC Whistle the Policeman who explains they were just on a rubbish dump not far from Mr. Clever's house.
Little Miss Fickle gets three invitations from Mr. Strong, Mr. Small and Little Miss Wise. However, she can't decide on where to go, so Little Miss Magic makes two copies of her so she can go to all three.
It's Christmas Day and all the Mr. Men and Little Misses are thrilled. That is, except for Mr. Worry, who is worried whether all his friend's houses have a Christmas tree beautiful enough to welcome Santa Claus.
