Amar runs behind the future by forgetting the current. Because of this, he is a victim of his family's happiness. One day he refuses to be present in his marriage anniversary celebration because of work. On the same day YAMRAJ comes to pick him up.

Amar negotiates with Yamraj and finally Yamraj gives him three days to live. Amar thinks that now he will be with the family and calls up his friends and sister to meet him. They are busy with their own lives.

Amar's wife Mansi shares some emotional things with Amar which make him realize some important aspects of life. Amar's father and daughter Vyoma together have arranged for a surprise anniversary celebration for Amar and Mansi meanwhile his son is not in the mood to talk to Amar.

In the surprise celebration, Abhi his son was not present. Abhi is not in the mood to talk to his dad. Abhi likes playing his guitar and wants to pursue his career in music but Amar wanted him to take up medicine. When everything is going fine, Amar suddenly gets mild chest pain.

After realizing that he needs to live life, Amar fulfills some of his wishes like meeting his old friends and rejoicing. His sister and brother-in-law also visit him which makes him happy. For the 3 days he is overwhelmingly joyous, happy and makes beautiful memories.

Today is the last day of Amar's life and he wants to celebrate his last day by cutting a cake. He encounters Yamraj again and negotiates again for some more time. This time, Yamraj throughly says no to Amar and says that his time is up. See what happens next.

Amar Mehta is a different person now, he has bought a Bungalow on the beach at Porbandar and is living his life to the fullest now. But his fun-filled life takes a sudden turn when his father is diagnosed with brain tumor which gives him a lot of tension as the operation is very expensive.

Amar decided not to tell anyone about the truth, he can't arrange a big amount on short notice. All of a sudden a writer reaches out to him who wants to write a book on him and will compensate him for the same. Amar invites the writer to his place and introduces him to his family as an old friend.

Amar's son fakes about his admission in college while Amar's daughter is confronted about her love life by her mother. Later Amar gets angry on seeing an expensive I-phone that he has been gifted by his family on his birthday. He is visibly frustrated as he has been saving money for the operation.

Amar's father wanted to sort out some of his work, but no one responds when he asked for help and he makes a decision. Everyone gets a shock when he announces that he is going to an old age home as the whole family is busy with their lives.

After a lot of convincing Amar's father then decides to stay back but on the condition that no one will use their respective mobile for one whole day. The family enjoy themselves and later Vyoma comes to know that a boy is coming to see her for.

Vyoma is not ready to see the boy as she loved someone else but she gets a surprise from Amar when the boy that comes to see her is Parva, the one she loves. But things don't go as per plan when Parva's family keep some conditions for the marriage.

Amar resolves Vyoma's situation, but when his father falls ill again he starts arranging for money. To his surprise the writer was the owner of the hospital in which operation happens and he was inspired by Amar Mehta's interview and he helps in making the operation happen free of cost.
