At a protest she attended in London, activist Rosa suffers a blow that causes a deadly aneurysm in her brain and learns she is face-to-face with death at any moment. Receiving a mysterious phone call from her father, whom she has never met, Rosa travels to Istanbul to trace the footsteps of her past, where her path crosses with Ali Aydan at the airport. Caught between the oppressive pressures of his authoritarian father, Faik Aydan, and his obligatory relationship with Beliz, the daughter of the Karanoğlu family, Ali finds in Rosa the peace and love he has been searching for for years.
