The big storm’s gone, but the forest is still full of slippery slopes and giant pools of water. When Grandpa goes missing, Buzz and Poppy set out to find him. But Grandpa’s trapped in a hole that’s filling up with water. Can they get him out in time?
Buzz and Poppy had never seen anything like the huge, round thing blown in by the storm. They want to share it with everyone, but the Thug Bugs say it belongs to them. Buzz and Poppy come up with a “ghostly” plan to make the Thug Bugs change their minds.
The forest’s first newspaper! Buzz and Poppy and their friends take the photos, write the stories, and deliver the New Leaf News - free to every home in the forest. But when the papers are stolen, Buzz and Poppy must find a way to catch the thieves and make them stop.
When Poppy starts playing bad notes, she blames her flute and wants to get rid of it. Only after she’s swapped it for a bigger, better looking flute, does she find she’s been tricked by the Thug Bugs. Now Poppy wants her old flute back. But how can she get it?
The forest had never seen a race like it. Buzz and Poppy on Grandpa’s shaky old tandem up against the cheating Thug Bugs on their fancy, new machine. But Buzz and Poppy soon find out there’s more to winning than just going fast.
Buzz and Poppy are sure their friend, Bertie, will win. But Sting, a sneaky wasp, has found a way to enter. With his Thug Bug friends helping him, Sting must win unless Buzz and Poppy can find a way to help Bertie through the toughest test of all.
Buzz and Poppy and their friends form a new troop of Forest Rangers. But Tweedle lacks confidence. He’s so nervous, his face breaks out in big red spots and he gives up. Its up to Buzz and Poppy to get Tweedle back into the troop and feeling like a real Ranger.
Poppy dreams of tasting Bark Berry Chocolate. When she finds a letter offering some as a prize, she has a problem, The letter’s not addressed to her, but she desperately wants that chocolate. When Poppy’s dreams turn into nightmares, she’s forced to make a decision - with some unexpected results.
For this year’s party, Buzz and Poppy and their friends have a special tune to play for their mums and dads. But when some sneaky Thug Bugs and a sharp needle take the air out of those plans, the friends must come up with a solution in a hurry.
There are no cakes for the new forest bakery until Buzz and Poppy jump in to help. Meanwhile the Thug Bugs think selling cakes will be easy money. But they don’t know what they are doing and any bug that eats their cakes could get very sick if Buzz and Poppy don’t act fast.
Vermin’s a moaning magpie with a cold head. When he nags his brother Sherman to do something about it, Buzz loses his cap and Wiley Weta loses his hat. But Vermin’s still unhappy. For everyone to get their hats back, Buzz and Poppy must make the pesky magpie a hat he can’t resist.
Buzz and Poppy’s missing pet flea, Hopscotch, has been found by the Thug Bugs. Slick, who’s always wanted a pet, knows Hopscotch should be returned to his family. When he sneaks Hopscotch back to Buzz and Poppy, they give him a reward he’ll never forget.
Grandma can grow anything in her garden. But those pesky magpie brothers, Sherman and Vermin, can’t grow a thing. When they steal vegetables from Grandma, Buzz and Poppy drive them off with a giant scarecrow. The magpies plan revenge until Buzz and Poppy come up with the perfect solution for everyone.
When Buzz and Poppy stop saying ‘please’ and ‘thanks’, their mum gives them a book to keep score every time they use the words. It starts as a game, but they soon realise you have to mean the words, too. Wiley Weta is about to learn the same lesson - the hard way.
The forest is full of junk so Buzz and Poppy start a ‘keep our forest tidy’ campaign. The Thug Bugs are the worst offenders. They’re proud of making the biggest mess and never clean up after themselves. Until Buzz and Poppy offer them a challenge they can’t refuse.
Its a fun race around the island and Buzz wants to win. He’s got Poppy, mum and dad in his team. The Thug Bugs also want to win and expect a big prize. The Huhu family hit trouble, leaving the cheating Thug Bugs to cross the line first. But Wiley’s in for a big surprise.
The river’s too rough to test the boat Buzz and Poppy have helped build. That doesn’t stop the Thug Bugs stealing it for a ride and they’re soon in trouble. But when Buzz and Poppy ask the pesky magpie brothers to help with the rescue, Vermin does a deal. Poppy has something he wants.
Its the annual Charity Drive and Buzz and Poppy and their friends to door to door collecting cloths for the forest’s poorer families. This year, the Thug Bugs get there first and steal the best for themselves. They think they’ve got away with it until they discover Buzz’s box of Itchy powder mixed up with the cloths.
Buzz and Poppy and their friends borrow Axel’s new silent moving picture machine to produce the school play. Wiley Weta and the Thug Bugs soon muscle their way into the cast. But they quickly learn that acting is not all glamour and has its share of bumps and bruises.
Buzz and Poppy think staying home for the holidays will be boring, so do the Thug Bugs. But it gets exciting when the Thug Bugs’ giant kits is blown away with Wiley dangling underneath. Buzz has to do some high flying of his own is he’s to get Wiley down safely.
Buzz and Poppy and their friends love to play Rain Jumping, dodging the drops of water that fall off leaves. But this time, dodging the drops proves easier than dodging the thick mud. When Buzz and Poppy and some of the Thug Bugs get stuck, there seems no easy way out.
When scary night noises keep Buzz and Poppy awake at night, dad promises to fix their squeaky door. But the scary noises don’t stop. Its the sneaky Thug Bugs up to their old tricks. To get a good night’s sleep, Buzz and Poppy must find a way to scare them off.
Its a big Huhu family sale - dad’s furniture, grandpa’s toys and mum’s jewellery, with a beautiful necklace prize for one lucky shopper. When the necklace vanishes, the sneaky Thug Bugs accuse the Huhu family of cheating. The only way to prove they’re not cheats is for Buzz and Poppy to find the necklace.
Buzz and Poppy organise a dance for the whole forest, but when the band gets sick, they need another one fast. Can sneaky Wiley Weta and the Thug Bug Boppers really play those instruments? Or are they up to their old tricks? What starts as a dance quickly turns into an unexpected comedy show.
Grandma’s birthday will be a heap of fun. Buzz and Poppy have planned a surprise party and baked a giant cake. its Slick Slater’s birthday too, but the Thug Bugs have forgotten all about it. Can Buzz and Poppy find a way for Grandma and Slick to both have a happy happy birthday?
Buzz and Poppy are hard at work helping build the forest’s first hospital. The timber’s been cut, but sneaky Wiley Weta decides to steal some for his new, wooden sun deck. When things go wrong and the Thug Bugs become the hospital’s first patients, Wiley soon regrets what he’s done.
When an earthquake hits the forest, Buzz and poppy’s family escape unharmed. But an avalanche of rocks traps the sneaky Thug Bugs inside Callous Cave. All except Slick. When Buzz and Poppy find the injured Slater in the forest, they realise the Thug Bugs could be in big trouble.
Buzz and Poppy and their friends love Kick Ball. When they challenge the Thug Bugs to a game, Wiley’s team gets help from a mad magpie referee who wants to eat the ball. Can Buzz and Poppy beat the odds and win the game?
Buzz and Poppy’s grandma grows what looks like a winner for the Biggest Watermelon Contest. But Wiley wants his Thug bugs to steal the prize with a fake watermelon. His sneaky plan almost works, until Slick gets confused over a tin of glue. For the Thug Bugs, it suddenly looks like a sticky ending.
Milly Millipede, the forest’s free taxi, has an accident. While she’s injured, the sneaky Thug bugs set up their own taxi company. But there’ll be no free rides. Everyone wants Milly back. Its up to Buzz and Poppy and their friends to get her rolling again.
When Whirligig needs a holiday from delivering the forest mail, Slick Slater gets the job. But Buzz and Poppy smell a Thug Bugs’ plot when Wiley Weta starts reading everyone’s mail. Its up to Buzz and poppy to come up with their own smelly scheme to get Wiley and his gang out of the Mail business.
Buzz and Poppy head off with their Forest Ranger friends on a camping trip. But when some food goes missing and giant footprints are found, they fear the make-believe Big Footed Monster may be real. Or could it be something else? Will the Forest Rangers be brave enough to hunt down the truth.
Buzz and Poppy have been asked to look after their baby sister, Snobbly, while their parents are working. But Buzz and Poppy get careless and while they’re not watching, baby Snobbly disappears. Soon every bug in the forest is searching, but can Buzz and Poppy find their little sister before she comes to any harm?
Grandpa’s stepping down as Forest Leader and Buzz and Poppy persuade their mum, Dolly to stand for election. But the Thug bugs’ sneaky boss, Wiley Weta, also wants the job. He likes the idea of being ‘boss’ of the whole forest. And he’ll lie and cheat to win the job unless Buzz and Poppy can catch him out.
Buzz has ruined Poppy’s homework and she’s stomped on his cap. They’ve said ‘sorry’ to each other, but is that enough? All around the forest, bugs are apologising. But some are doing more than that, they’re fixing the problems they’ve caused. Should Buzz and Poppy do the same?
Buzz and Poppy’s forest is dry and there’s a high fire risk. They build a bumper-sized fire bucket to carry water to dangerous hot spots like the Thug Bugs’ outdoor barbecue. But then the bumper-sized bucket gets wrecked. Can Buzz come up with another idea to save the forest?
Buzz and Poppy’s mum, Dolly, organises a contest to help everyone. Suggestions to improve life in the forest are to be left in the Bright Idea Box. But when Wiley Weta gets up to his old cheating tricks, its up to Buzz to outsmart him and stop the Thug Bugs’ Boss from stealing the contest.
The local children run the forest’s only newspaper, the New Leaf News. But when the printing machine breaks down, the Thug Bugs try to start their own paper in competition. If the “Wiley Weta Weekly” is a hit, will it mean the end of all Buzz and Poppy’s hard work?
Wiley Weta thinks Buzz and Poppy always ruin his sneaky plans because of something they learn at school. So he sends Slick Slater to join the class and spy on them. But when Buzz and Poppy find out what Wiley’s up to, they have to outsmart the Thug Bug boss without spoiling Slick’s reading lessons.
When the local magpies find a huge wheel and bring it back to the forest, its too big for their tree. They give the wheel to Buzz and Poppy, but the Thug Bugs steal it. When Wiley’s plan gets stuck, Buzz and Poppy come up with the perfect idea to turn the wheel into something everyone in the forest can enjoy.
Poppy and Grandpa practise hard for their flute concert. But Poppy’s flute falls out of Buzz’s pocket while he’s helping Tweedle climb his first tree. When Wiley Weta stumbles over the lost flute and damages it, he thinks he’s found the perfect way to spoil the concert. But will Poppy give up that easily?
When Buzz and Poppy’s friend Digger the worm hurts his back playing ball, he can’t dig holes properly and gets trapped underground. Digger needs to be rescued, but no one knows where he is. Could the answer lie with the strange ‘ghost’ that’s suddenly turned up in the Thug Bugs’ Cave?
When an accident injures Buzz and Poppy’s friend Toi Toi, they build a special wheelie chair to push him around. An invention that will help any sick or injured bug. But when Wiley Weta steals the chair for his own personal transport, things go wrong and he’s soon sorry he didn’t stick to walking.
Wiley Weta thinks Buzz and Poppy are away on a school trip. With no Huhu kids to outsmart him, Wiley plans to make mischief all over the forest. But Buzz and Poppy have stayed home sick, and, with no friends to help them, they have to try to stop the Thug Bugs by somehow being everywhere at once.
The Bees in Buzz and Poppy’s forest have forgotten how to make delicious Sunny Honey. When the Thug Bugs steal the last jar and Wiley eats the lot, it seems the bright yellow honey has gone forever. Unless Buzz and Poppy can work out the secret ingredient that turns ordinary honey into Sunny Honey.
Buzz and Poppy’s neighbour, Vermin the magpie, makes a terrible mistake and eats what he thinks is a huhu bug. But which huhu bug? And why has it made him so sick? If they’re to save Vermin, Buzz and Poppy not only have to work out what he ate, they have to help Axel find a cure.
When Buzz and Poppy accidentally drop a tree branch on Wiley’s head, the grumpy Thug Bugs’ Boss loses his memory. He suddenly starts smiling and being nice to everyone. But when Wiley tries to help others in the forest, he gets stuck up a tree. And gets another bump on the head. Could this be the end of Smiley Wiley?
Buzz and Poppy never use the bush with red berries as firewood. They know the smoke can make a bug sick and change colour. When Wiley burns some to heat Callous Cave, the drifting smoke also threatens his neighbours, Axel and Plez. Can Buzz and Poppy rescue everyone in time? And will they need some extra puff from Axel’s latest invention?
The forest council is about to reward its Busiest Bug. Any bug could win and Buzz and Poppy will help count the votes. Lazy Wiley Weta’s faithful sidekick, Slick, tries to persuade everyone to vote for ‘The Boss’. Buzz tells Poppy he’ll eat his cap if a thug Bug wins. That’s something Buzz might regret.
Buzz builds a cart and leads it to Whirli the postman to make his job easier. It seems like a good idea, but its not. The cart has different sized wheels and with Milly pulling, it wobbles and bobbles everywhere. Meanwhile, Wiley’s broken the Thug Bugs’ bath. Can Buzz be trusted to help build them a new one?
Buzz and Poppy and their friends are organising the forest’s annual picnic. A day for sharing and giving. The Thug Bugs’ boss, Wiley Weta, plans to take, not give, by eating everyone else’s food. But a Give Right Picnic is different to ordinary picnics, and the greedy Weta is soon in big trouble with a big bird.
