"Ghost Train" is a rather uneven horror thriller from South Korea. Creative ideas, sit side by side, with mediocre one's, that show little imaginative investment. The notion of a woman turning into a flower is hardly inspiring, whilst the soft drink dispenser story, is actually quite intriguing. This pattern repeats itself over the space of this film, with an ending that's shows a dash of flair but it also wholly predictable. Characterisations share a similar fate. They feel like they can't quite rise above the inconsistencies, in the stories told. This is balanced out somewhat, by consistent quality acting, from the cast. In summary, "Ghost Train" is a mixed bag embracing both imagination and mediocrity, in equal measure. An okay horror thriller watch.
